These Varmint Express loads offer hyper-velocity V-MAX projectiles with a muzzle speed of 3210 fps and an impressive energy transfer of 1990 ft/lbs. The V-MAX projectile features a polymer-tipped hollow point that expands violently at varying velocities. Even at 1600 fps, the V-MAX will explode into a deadly mushroom shape that will drop squirrels, rabbits, coyotes, etc. Hornady uses top-shelf brass casings for these Varmint Express loads. Each casing is loaded with carefully selected powders and primers and is non-corrosive and reloadable.
