I did a lot of homework before making this purchase. I reviewed lots of information from owners of the Pietta vs. Uberti-made Colt replicas. I know they are both fine revolvers well worth their relatively low cost. I wanted a seven and half inch barrel .3

This is an exalt value. You get a gun that has the look, feel and operation of a real Colt 1873 for only half the price of a Colt. I recommend it to anyone who has interest in American history, old west history or just enjoys classic firearms.
