I just got one based on this review as well. It has the funky base pin screw owing to the import restrictions and is also marked as F Co. I called Cimarron to confirm that there should be a standard base pin screw. There should be in a small plastic bag

I like the Cimarron single action revolvers and especially this Scout revolver. The bright nickel finish is flawless and the action is perfect--I've gotten lots of compliments on the beauty of this gun which duplicates the cavalry models issued to scouts
