Nice classic sidearm, shoots very accurate. The finish on the colt is average at best (discoloration) light rust? Apparently needs to be oiley, not to my liking, who wants to handle a oiley gun all the time.

I have owned several 1911s. This Colt Government Model has hands down the best fit and finish of any 1911 I own, really of any firearm I own. Tight fit. Feeds all types of ammo flawlessly.

Fit and finish is superb, is what I expected from Colt and was not disappointed. Bluing is dark and even grips are great cherry wood. Extra clip and nice box that came with it was a nice touch.
