The FN Five-seveN pistol was developed in the early 1990s and features a cold hammer-forged barrel that is chrome-lined for extended service life. The polymer-framed FN Five-seveN offers single-action operation, low felt recoil, 20-round magazine capacity, and is equipped with an ambidextrous, forward-mounted manual safety, and an accessory rail that accepts tactical lights and lasers. Excellent gun. Shoots like a dream. Very little recoil. Only downside is that it does not fit other Five-seveN holsters. Holsters have to be specific to the MK2 model.

It is a reliable pistol, I didn't like the grip and handle, it was something to be expected given the round it uses, very accurate and recoil completely non existing, the trigger is not something to write home about, but overall good.

Expensive but fun
Ammo runs $14-18/50 and it is a fun gun to carry. Boat tail bullets tend to tumble when they hit causing a good wound channel. Extremely accurate and easy to handle recoil. 20 rnd mags beat my G-19's 17rnds and is thinner than the Glock doublestack. S

Well it is not a gun for everyone but it was the one for me. Buds delivered quickly as advertised. Fit and finish of the gun was A+. Very nice case and three 20 round magazines. Trigger pull could be a little better. Very nice choice for my off duty weapo

I've looked at the Five Seven for over a year. Wasn't sure about it. It seemed pricey for a small caliber pistol. After shooting one at our local gun shop, I fell in love with it. Mild recoil, lots of power and a joy to fire. The fun factor on this pistol
