For a .22, you can't go wrong. So far I put 100 rounds through it to sight in the scope and it is flawless. This is my second Marlin and great for varmints around the house and for plinking.

i purchased a glenfield forty yrs ago same rifle for 59.95 at otasco . had a scope. i love this firearm w/ synthetic stock very lightweight. to get the synthetic stock looks like you got to buy the scope. throw the scope away. i had a simmons 22 mag scope
