The weapon is made rather well. The tolerances are pretty tight. The trigger has a smooth squeeze to it and so far I have had fairly good accuracy output down range. I recommend this for anyone who needs a good run of the mill hunting rifle, and does not

Nice rifle... and absolutely phenomenal for the price. The 'checkering' style looks great against the wood. The scope is average for a combo rifle package - serviceable for sure. First shot was on paper at 50yds - didn't take long for initial sighting in.

The Mossberg Patriot is exactly what I hoped it would be. Fine scope, easy firing sequence, beautiful stock, nail pounder. I would have paid much more for this combo but am elated I didn't have to.
