About North American Arms The Earl NAA18603C
NAA's 1860 Series, also known as "The Earl", "The Hogleg" and "The Sheriff" are five-shot, single action, 1860's- styled mini- revolver chambered in 22 magnum. As with every NAA Mini-Revolver, the hammer need not rest on an empty chamber. Using the original half-way notch cylinder, the hammer may rest safely and securely without chance of accidental discharge. NAA's .22 Magnum can be used with all popular .22 Magnum ammunition, including .22 Magnum shot shells (called Snake Shot by some manufacturers).

Carried for a month so far, I carry 4 in the chamber with the hammer on an empty cuz the way the manual tells you how to set the hammer on those notches seemed sketchy to me, I practiced with it and didn't like it so 'better safe then sorry', maybe someon
