About Ruger Mark IV Target 40159
The Ruger Mark IV Target is a simple, blowback-operated pistol based on the original Ruger Standard introduced in 1949. Unlike its' predecessor, however, the Mark IV Target features one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber to muzzle cleaning. A recessed button in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off of the grip frame without the use of tools. It features a one-piece, precision CNC-machined grip frame, ergonomic bolt stop, and a contoured ejection port. The sighting system features an adjustable rear sight and a receiver drilled and tapped for Weaver- or Picatinny-style rail (rail not included). The ambidextrous manual safety positively locks the sear in the "SAFE" position when applied, and the safety can be converted to left-side only with included washer. This model includes two 10-round magazines. Features: Target laminate grips 5.5" bull barrel, 1:16" twist Simple One-Button Takedown One-Piece Machined Grip Frame Ergonomic Bolt Stop Adjustable rear sight

August 21, 2018The Mark iv laminate is great in the hand, easy to clean, and steady to aim. The sights need a white outline to better attain target. I used a metallic fine point silver pilot pen to achieve this. A fine 22 target pistol. Buds work with you well all along
