I really like this revolver. I mounted a extended eye relief Leupold scope and feel pretty good to 100 yards. So far no opportunities to harvest any wildlife with it. It is a little rough on your second finger on recoil when placed behind the trigger guar

Fit and finish wasn't there. After two trips back to the factory the loading gate was made to work properly, but the fitting is not right. Shoots well enough, so I left it at that. I just try to avert my sight from it.

This is the only .44 magnum I've fired so I can't make a direct comparison. That said, I did a lot of homework before deciding to add this particular gun to my collection and I am very happy with the decision. I don't hunt -- I just wanted a big revolver.
