My first synthetic stock model 70 with the new "pre 64" action in 270. Very pleased with the feel of the action and stock. Very comfortable and accurate. The bluing is deep blue black and complements the well designed stock. Very pleased.

Have one in a .300 Win Mag. and love it. I bring it hunting with me no matter what I am going for. Light enough to carry around for a day but rugged enough to put on the quad and cover more ground
