This helps to direct recoil into the shoulder area and get the shooter's line-of-sight lined quickly with the scope. This rifle features a fine low-luster bluing on the barrel and receiver with a satin-finished walnut stock. It also bears the logo of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation on the grip cap. This is a tribute to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and a percentage of sales from this rifle goes to help support habitat, range, health and studies of elk throughout the United States.

Stainless steel matte finish receiver is glass bedded and drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Matte finish stainless steel Heavy Sporter barrel is free-floating, hand chambered, target crown with eight flutes to reduce weight and increase cooling. Bolt-action with 60 bolt lift, Adjustable Feather Trigger and detachable rotary magazine. Top-tang safety. Bolt unlock button. Composite stock, textured gripping surfaces, right-hand palm swell, two-toned silver/carbon fiber finish and Dura-Touch Armor Coating. Inflex Technology recoil pad. Sling swivel studs installed.
