HATSAN PS SLG 12g,24"
Hunting purpose slug shotgun 12 or 20 gauge, 3”/76 mm magnum chamber, gas operated semi auto shotgun. Fast Loading System & Smart Valve Piston. Turkish walnut stock and fore-end with checkering. Rubber butt pad for recoil absorption & 3 stock spacers to extend stock length of pull. Black anodized air craft alloy receiver with 11 mm groove for scope mounts. Nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel barrel. Outside black hard chrome finish & inside white hard chrome finish. Proof tested for 1200 kg/cm2 (17160 lb. per square inch). Checkered & ventilated anti-glare rib. Magazine capacity: 4+1 rounds. Accessory magazine extension tube increasing capacity to 7+1. Accessory migratory plug decreasing capacity to 2+1. Comes with 4 stock shims to adjust stock drop and cast. Magazine cut-off system for single shot. Manual cross-button trigger safety. Sling swivels. The Smart Valve Piston automatically adjusts the exact & reliable gas pressure needed for a wide range of loads from 7/8 oz (24 gr) shot load to heavy 2 oz (57gr) load magnum shells and even to 2 1 (64 gr) double magnum shells. When firing light loads almost all of the gases are used to operate the action and only a small portion is exhausted. When firing heaviest magnum & double magnum loads most of the gases are exhausted and only a portion of the gases are used to operate the action. Escort’s patented Smart Valve Piston automatically self adjusts this reliably even if you mix different size & weight shot shells in the magazine and Escort shoots them all. Also, thanks to the Smart Valve Piston, most of the recoil is eliminated before it reaches your shoulder giving shooting conformance, reduced barrel lift and faster swing on targets. Smart Valve Piston is standard on all Escort semi auto shotguns.
