Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. These Premier’s are purely for the Field/Game shooter and has been meticulously designed to cater for their specific needs, with a focus high end performance. In keeping with all Holloway & Naughton ® Over and Under shotguns, the Premier model is well balanced to create fast handling. A slim stock and forend, lighter barrels and a finer rib, all contribute to it’s lighter weight. The engraving is traditional English style Bouquet and Scroll, however Game scenes are available at an additional cost.
