Shotguns Descriptions

Browning Silver Hunter

The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. The low recoiling Browning Silver Hunter Matte Semi-Auto Shotgun allows for fast follow-up shots and all-day shooting comfort on the clays range or wing shooting.Lightweight and fast handling2-tone silver/black receiverBlued barrelTurkish walnut stockVentilated recoil padActive Valve gas systemCycles 2-3/4" and 3" shellsVent rib and brass front beadInvector-Plus choke tubesBack bored barrel

Merkel 2001EL-Sport

Merkel set the world standard as the first manufacturer to produce over and under sporting guns in the late 1800's. These elegant shotguns have exceptional balance and superb handling characteristics. The slender Merkel three-piece forearm is designed to provide the shooter with a quick responsive shotgun with natural pointability. All over under models are hand engraved and are stocked with highly figured Luxury grade wood. All Merkel shotguns are equipped with cold hammer forged barrels which have higher surface hardness that extend the life of the bores and chokes. The super rigid Kersten crossbolt mechanism is one of the most safe and reliable methods of locking the barrel to the receiver of an over under shotgun. One hundred years of continuous refinement have led to the introduction of the new 2000EL series over under shotguns. This new design combines the aesthetic beauty of handcrafted engraving and hand checkering with the precision machining and exact tolerances offered by the latest CNC and EDM production technologies. The new action features an Anson & Deely style boxlock action and has a unique disconnectable ejector system which gives the user the option of selecting automatic ejector or extractor operation on this shotgun model. Kersten double crossbolt lock. Features: Action- Modified Anson & Deeley boxlock, Case Ejection- Coil spring ejectors, convertible to extractor, Barrel- Cold hammer forged steel, demibloc construction, solid sighting rib, Engraving- Light Arabesque.
