Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns. For this, bringing all the experience of our Group and our better designer engineers into play, we have realized a semi-automatic gun of great reliability and endurance to the most severe weather conditions. The first is assured from the long-tested gas recovery operation, a system that in nearly a century of rough use always has been demonstrated sturdiest and sure. The second is granted from particular carbon finishes, unattackable from rain and fog. Rust has stopped being a problem. These guns are assembled from a subsidiary company of the Group. The Bremec. Carbon is the material of the aerospace industry, the F1, and any applications where lightness, robustness, and protection of the parts become a precise requirement. This gun comes with the external surfaces of the receiver and barrels covered with the carbon finish for a lifetime hunting use. Always reliable like the first day.
