Bushmaster Gas Piston 90294
The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
C. Sharps Arms 1874 Custom Boss Gun (Black Powder)
BOSS GUN Features: Smooth Steel Shotgun Butt, Straight Grip, Cheek Rest with Accent Line, Hartford Forend, Deluxe Long Range Tang Sight, Buckhorn and Globe w/Post Barrel Sights. Barrels: For the BOSS GUN the No. 1 Heavy Tapered Octagon is standard. However, the standard weight barrel is available at no extra cost. Approximate weights—Standard Barrelled Rifles: 30" at 9 3/4 lbs., 32" at 10 1/4 lbs, 34" at 10 3/4 lbs.; No. 1 Heavy with Hartford Collar: 30" at 12 lbs., 32" at 12 3/4 lbs., 34" at 13 1/2 lbs. Full Tapered Octagon is standard. Optional Part Octagon to Round Tapered Barrel is available at $75.00 extra. (Half Octagon is approximately 11" Octagon and the balance Tapered Round.) We use only Badger Barrels with cut rifleing and handlapped. Sights: Globe with Post in front and Rocky Mountain Buckhorn Rear Barrel Sights, Deluxe Long Range Tang Sight with Windage Adjustment. Other sights available. Receiver: With Double Set Triggers and Straight Grip. Pistol Grip configurations are available if desired. Hand Engraving: Grade I: Right Side with S-Banner with BOSS GUN on raised receiver flat; Left Side with Oval for customer initials (maximum of three [3] initials), plus Accent Engraving on lockplate and receiver. Grade II: Same as Grade I except for additional engraving on all receiver group parts. Grade III: Currently the most dense hand engraved coverage available. Metal Finish: Receiver group and Butt Plate are French Grey standard, Color Case Hardened Receiver and Butt Plate also available on request; Barrel and Sights hand-polished, high lustre blued. Wood: American Walnut XXX Fancy standard. Presentation grade available at $300.00 extra. Buttstock: Hartford Style Heavy Butt, Straight Grip, Cheek Rest with Accent Line (for right handed shooter); available without cheek rest on request. Custom Shop Detail Fit and Finish. Wood is Hand Rubbed to a Satin Finish. Forend: Hartford Style with Cast German Silver Nose Cap.
