Rifles Descriptions
Bushmaster Gas Piston 90294
The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
COLT LE901-18SE CAR 308 18 MTBLK
Each rifle in Colt's M.A.R.C.901 family is an evolution of the LE901-16S, which means the upper receiver group can be easily swapped out for any Colt upper receiver chambered in .223 Rem (5.56x45 NATO) with the conversion kit (sold separately). Be it for whitetail hunting in Maine, target practice at the range or law-enforcement use, the Colt 901 family of rifles have the power and versatility you need. This iteration of the popular LE901 features a user-configurable monolithic upper receiver with a fixed rail at the 12 o'clock position and optional rail mounting in the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions to find your perfect balance between comfort and customized mounting of optics and accessories. The bolt and magazine controls are ambidextrous for flexibility and ease of use. Exceptional accuracy is assured by its 18" full-floated, chrome-lined barrel. It has folding, locking sights, a bayonet lug, and flash hider. It has an OAL of 36.24" with the VLTOR stock retracted and 39.5" when extended. It ships with one two-hole rail, two three-hole rails and one four-hole rail.
