The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. Liberty's patented lead-free high performance ammunition combines a significantly flatter trajectory, immediate synchronous spin, optimization for gyro stability and yaw independence contribute to superior ballistic coefficients and improved accuracy extended range. The 50-grain 9x 19mm Liberty Ammunition Civil Defense round reaches velocities over 2000 FPS with over 450 FPE kinetic energy. At 25 meters, Liberty Ammunition Civil Defense achieves less than 2 inches of dispersion. In ballistic gel, this round has achieves 12 inches of penetration and a permanent wound cavity greater than 5 inches in diameter.
