The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
Mossberg 4X4 Bolt Action Scoped Combo
The 4x4 Bolt-Action Rifle is offered in three stock configurations, including polymer, gray laminate, or a select American black walnut model; each featuring Monte Carlo style cheek pieces, slim-line grips, forend barrel vents, and soft, recoil absorbing buttpads. The new 4x4's are available in six calibers, from the all-around .25-06 Rem. to the punishing .338 Win. Mag. New scoped combos - Factory-mounted, laser bore sighted scoped combos available, featuring a 3-9x40mm variable centerfire rifle scope. With a free-floating, button rifled barrel, recessed muzzle crown, two piece factory installed Weaver-style scope bases (non-rifle sight models), box magazine, all-weather Marinecote barrel finish on laminated wood stock models.
