The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
Rhino Arms Heavy Metal Rifle RA-5R HMR
Nicknamed the “Hammer”, the Rhino Arms Heavy Metal Rifle HMR is a light, fast, purpose-specific competition rifle capable of both pinpoint accuracy and ridiculously fast split times. The adjustable gas block and low mass operating system make this large frame AR a pleasure to shoot and a force to be reckoned with. Receiver Set: Rhino Series Billet Aluminum with black anodized upper and Rhino grey lower. Barrel Profile: Light Contour. Gas Length: Mid. Gas Block: Rhino Adjustable. Muzzle Device: Rhino 1” Brake. Handguard: 15” Rhino Series Carbon Fiber M-Lok. Charging Handle: Raptor. Bolt Carrier: Rhino Series Low Mass with TI Firing Pin. Bolt Catch: Extended. Safety: Rhino Ambi. Trigger: Rhino Series Straight. Grip: Suregrip. Stock: ARFX with Carbon Fiber Sleeve. Rhino Series Adjustable Gas Blocks are machined from steel and finished with a salt nitride bath, giving them extreme durability, and resistance to scratch and corrosion. Rhino series gas blocks are adjustable. Carrier is 8620 steel. Bolt is 9310 carpenter steel. MPI tested, and shot-peened. Grade A fasteners. Properly staked carrier key. Chromed firing pin. Nickel Boron coated. Uses a solid Stoner style firing pin retainers.
