Nagant 1878 (Fluted Cylinder)
The Nagant 1878 revolver was the first modern Nagant revolver. It was almost excusively issued to the Belgian Army officers so it was also known as the Officers model. The Nagant 1878 revolver had an ejection rod with a large disc at the end to aid in quick case ejection, large spur-type hammer and reloading through a reloading gate instead of a hinging cylinder. It was in use till WWI.
