Lefaucheux 1863-79 Swedish Revolver

The 1863-79 Swedish Revolver was conversion of 1863 Swedish Revolver to fire centerfire rounds. Great majority of the Swedish 1863 Lefaucheux revolvers was converted to fire centerfire ammo. Very few Swedish Lefaucheux revolvers have escaped this modification! The top of the barrel is marked "E. LEFAUCHEUX BRTE S.G.D.G. A PARIS", the lower left side of the barrel lug is marked "INV IN E. LEFAUCHEUX / BREVETE SGDG PARIS". The right side of the rear barrel flat is marked with three "crown" proofs. Unfluted cylinder. There were 1,100 of the 1863-79 Swedish Revolvers manufactured in 1879.
