The G17 Gen5 features a no finger grooved, multiple backstrapped, rough textured frame with hundreds of miniature spikes which results in remarkable traction for extreme environments and gloved operators. The frame also features a smooth trigger, reversible mag release, and ambidextrous slide stop. The magazine comes with a floor plate which is extended at the front for faster magazine change, and a orange follower, while the flared mag-well makes it easier to funnel the magazine into the mag-well. Glock\'s nDLC finish provides a tougher, more durable protection against corrosion and scratching. The Glock Marksman barrel features a barrel rifling which delivers improved accuracy. his Glock Gen5 model has AmeriGlo night sights (green with orange outline front and green rear) and a 10-round capacity. The 2006 Limited Edition - authentic Model 08 features include - 100% dimensionally identical to the first Krieghoff pistols. - Machined from the best grade solid steel - Stamped with the authentic Krieghoff anchor insignia on front toggle link - Beautiful case colored accents where applicable - Nickel plated magazine with aluminized bottom - Original interior barrel rifling. - Bakelite pistol grip..............Background: Between 1934 and 1945, Krieghoff produced approximately 13,850 Model "08" pistols in their factory in Suhl, Germany. A small percentage of these pistols, approximately 1650, were manufactured as a civilian version of the Parabellum. This rarer Parabellum contained additional features and details omitted on the military version. Krieghoff continues production of this very sought after collector’s item with the introduction of the 2006 Limited Edition...........Limited Edition: Only two hundred (200) pieces, serial numbered 18001 to 18200, will be produced - signifying the continuation of the product line halted over 60 years ago. Every new Parabellum pistol will be delivered in a specially made aluminum pistol case, machined from solid aluminum block and imprinted with the Krieghoff anchor insignia and name.
