The G17 Gen5 features a no finger grooved, multiple backstrapped, rough textured frame with hundreds of miniature spikes which results in remarkable traction for extreme environments and gloved operators. Merwin, Hulbert, and Co. was an American firearms manufacturer located in New York City. Merwin, Hulbert, and Co. produced revolvers and rifles from 1876 to 1916. The firearms were manufactured by a subsidiary company, Hopkins & Allen of Norwich, Connecticut. The 38 Automatic Police revolver has a folding hammer and a ribbed barrel.
