About Bushmaster 450 RFL
The 50 Bushmaster hunting rifle offers the big game hunter AR speed and accuracy. The powerful 450 Bushmaster cartridge, developed in affiliation with Hornady, is tamed by the AR-type gas operating system so recoil is reduced to a heavy thump, and second shot control is retained. It has a free-floating, vented aluminum forend. The upper and lower receivers are machined from a Mil-Spec aluminum forging. Standard AR-type 30-round magazines are fitted with a blue single stack follower to yield a magazine capacity of five rounds. The 450 Bushmaster ships with one 5-round magazine.

1st day out with my 450 Bushmaster using the Hornady 250 gr FTX ammo and I got my best buck ever! He's a beautiful Michigan 13 pointer that I took at about 75 yards right through the heart. I had mounted a Nikon Monarch 3 2-8x32 scope which seems perfect

This caliber is Kick A. It will take anything you put it up against and not break your collar bone. I can consistently shoot sub MOA groups with factory loadings. Hand loading can be a little tricky as the crimp has to be exactly right every time for accu
