About Lercker
The Lercker was a selective-fire automatic pistol designed by Carlo Cuppini and Cesare Lercker in 1950 in Bologna, Italy. This recoil, blowback, open bolt fire pistol was chambered in caliber .25ACP and it had magazine capacity of 20 rounds. The small cartridge also produced much less recoil than larger cartridges such as the 9mm Parabellum, making the weapon easier to control in the selective-fire mode. Only 150 pistols were made before the Italian government banned the production.
