Weighing in at about 7 lbs. and measuring 41.75 inches, the Model 25 Walking Varminter gives a versatile combination of agility and accuracy. This rifle features a 22" medium-contour, matte blue barrel that's sleeved for added rigidity. It comes equipped with Weaver-style scope bases and triple pillar bedding. The Model 25 has a 3-lug bolt that features a 60-degree throw that allowing for a large diameter scope to be mounted low on the receiver. The revolutionary AccuTrigger, adjustable from 2.5 -3.25lbs, is standard on the Savage Model 25 as well as a 4-round, detachable box magazine. The 25 Walking Varminter barrel is made of carbon steel and has a matte black synthetic stock.

I’ve got both the 223 and 22 Hornet. Yeah, the magazine could use some work and more capacity but when you’re stacking holes in the bullseye you will be happy.

Nice rifle. Exceeded my expectations. Will make an excellent varmint rifle. The gun and action really smoothed out after about 20 rounds were fired through it. 4 stars to a 5 star rating--because clip is not as user friendly as I would like.

This gun is very accurate, sub 1in groups at 100yds with some factory ammo. However, I don't like the plastic magazine or plastic trigger guard, and ammo is hard to chamber at times. I like it for the price I paid. Gun was in perfect condition when I pick
