Barrel : machined from bar stock with 7 lands and grooves having a 161 right hand twist. Receiver : 7075T6 aircraft grade heat treated aluminum alloy, machined from bar stock. Grip/Frame : Made from Zytel polymer, with ergonomic finger grooves and an integral "RE-COIL CUSHION" on the backstrap. Recoil Spring System : all steel, fully encapsulated for ease of disassembly and reassembly. Slide Lock/Release : steel with a Zytel over molded polymer extension for ease of operation. 3 dot sight system : steel rear sight, adjustable for windage only with locking screw. Hammer firing system : double action only, internal hammer with inertial firing pin to prevent accidental discharge if dropped. Manual Guarded Safety : Newly designed with a guard molded into the frame. Double action trigger : specifically designed for shooter comfort and accuracy by designing the system to have a smooth effortless, consistent 9 pound trigger pull. Magazine : included with (2) double stack, 10 round capacity magazines with finger extension base installed and 2 flat magazine bases included. Trigger Guard Lock : custom designed to properly fit and be child resistant. Includes 2 keys.

Not Worth It
I purchased this firearm thinking I'd use it for concealed carry. After about 50 rounds, it kept jamming about one or two rounds per magazine. Cleaning and oiling made no difference. Not dependable for concealed carry. I now carry a Ruger LCP .380 instead

worth the money
The only issue I had with this pistol was the magazines...I called the company .... no questions asked..... they sent me 2 new magazines. The company even paid for FedExpress....

I purchased the SCCYX 2 from Cabla's...... the only issue I had was with the magazines. I called the company..... 2 replacements were sent to me .... no questions asked.. It is my concealed carry now...

I Brought One Three Years Ago And Its Still My Go
Go To Carry Pistol I love my SCCY and I carry it like a credit card just in case someone tries to take my real cash are cards lol. Its a great little gun to have and its very dependable.

Good backup if you can stand the long hard trigger
This is a great backup option. Replaced a .380 that simply felt too small. I usually carry a Glock 40, but this is a great back up or alternate for when the weather is hot or I want to carry a little lighter.
