Good gun but....

I had to send mine back to S&W for repair/inspection due to pitting or corrosion around the firing pin bushing. That and the frame looked like it was taking a beating although I only owned it for 11 months and shot 500 rounds thru it with only a handf

This revolver fulfills the above referenced qualities quite well. While I would prefer having the ability to cock the firearm, single action, for better accuracy, it makes up for this downfall with up close, fast response.

Not a gun for a woman

642 Airweight: Very Pleased

My first center-fire revolver. Very light weight, but I did not find the recoil objectionable. Fired about 24 rounds the first time- no complaints. Grips fit my hand well. Accuracy was good at 25 feet: everything was on target. The sights are almost non-e
